Nigel Bates has been at the helm of ISE Fire Products & Services since 1993, bringing a wealth of sales experience to his role as Owner. Over the years, Nigel has played a pivotal role in maintaining strong relationships with loyal customers while welcoming new ones into the fold. Known for his patience and steady approach, Nigel is a guiding force for the team.

When he’s not leading the business, Nigel enjoys staying active through physical exercise and shares a love for dogs, which adds to his approachable and down-to-earth nature. His dedication and leadership have been instrumental in shaping ISE Fire into the trusted company it is today.

Bev Odell is a cornerstone of the ISE Fire Products & Services team, proudly holding the title of "Office Legend." She joined the company in 2016, bringing with her a wealth of customer service experience. Bev thrives on connecting with customers and takes pride in resolving their issues efficiently, often earning praise for her exceptional organisational skills and her ability to "get things done."

Outside of work, Bev leads an active and vibrant life, enjoying swimming, dancing, listening to music, and going on walks. She's also a self-proclaimed dog lover and finds joy in relaxing with a drink in hand. Bev's dedication and enthusiasm make her an irreplaceable part of the team.

Jennifer Thomas plays a vital role at ISE Fire Products & Services as the Extinguisher Co-ordinator. With a diverse professional background that includes working as an NNEB Nursery Nurse, Beauty Therapist, and Paediatric Physiotherapy Practitioner, Jennifer brings a unique set of skills and experiences to her role. She excels in day-to-day interactions with customers and liaising with them, making her an approachable and professional point of contact.

Jennifer is known for her exceptional organisational skills, dedication, and ability to work seamlessly as part of a team. Her sociable nature and active listening skills make her a valued colleague and a trusted resource for both the team and customers.

Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys keeping active with exercise and gardening, socialising with friends and family, and doting on her two beloved Chihuahuas, Pedro-Fernando and Phoebe-Maria.

Nicola joined ISE in January after helping us out for a few months in 2024. She is the Fire Trainer Coordinator as well as helping with the day to day running of the office.

Nicola likes to challenge herself – she likes to climb mountains, does long walks and is currently doing a medal-walking 2025 miles this year – in 2025!

She loves her holidays and drinking fizz!

Tina Brimley has been an integral part of the ISE Fire Products & Services team since 2005, serving as the ever-reliable Accounts Assistant. With a background in admin and editorial work, Tina brings precision and attention to detail to her role. Her favourite part of the job is the camaraderie she shares with her amazing friends and work colleagues, which reflects her warm and friendly nature.

Tina is celebrated for her creative flair, particularly her innovative fancy dress outfits, as well as her baking skills, with her cookies and sausage rolls being firm favourites.

Outside of work, Tina is a devoted West Ham United fan, even if it means enduring their ups and downs. She also enjoys attending live music concerts, dancing the night away, and showing off her skills in darts. Tina’s vibrant personality and dedication make her a cherished member of the team.

Laura Roberts has been a cornerstone of ISE Fire Products & Services since 2000, expertly managing her role as Accounts Manager. With a solid professional background spanning roles as a PA, in sales, and in accounts, Laura brings a wealth of experience and versatility to the team. Her favourite part of the job? The Christmas party, where her vibrant personality shines!

Known for her love of the gym and a good drink, Laura balances hard work with plenty of fun. Outside of work, she enjoys walking her dog and indulging in a bit of retail therapy. Laura’s dedication and lively spirit make her an invaluable member of the team.

Melanie Collin joined ISE Fire Products & Services in 2024 as an Accounts Assistant, bringing with her an impressive 35 years of experience in managing accounts systems, payroll, and HR for small companies. Known for her adaptability to various software applications, patience, loyalty, and strong work ethic, Melanie is a dedicated and skilled professional who has seamlessly integrated into the team.

She particularly appreciates the steady workload, excellent working conditions, and the opportunity to collaborate with the friendly and knowledgeable staff at ISE Fire.

Outside of work, Melanie enjoys a variety of interests, including reading, following Formula 1, travelling, and her passion for British motorcycles and football. She values being part of a professional, established company and is proud to contribute to its ongoing success.

Julie has worked for ISE for over 30years, completing many different roles within the accounts department, assisting Laura and Tina on daily basis.

Julie loves reading, painting (watercolours), walking and is a very good cook… and Grandma!

Sarah Brown has been an integral part of the ISE Fire Products & Services team since 2014, serving as a dedicated Fire Risk Assessor. After starting her career in IT and later training as an Early Years Practitioner, Sarah made a significant career change into fire safety. Her varied background has equipped her with a unique skill set, including exceptional attention to detail and a strong focus on customer care.

Sarah loves the dynamic nature of her role, particularly meeting customers and visiting diverse sites, as no two jobs are ever the same.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys a rich and fulfilling personal life. She spends her time gardening, participating in amateur dramatics, enjoying family moments, and indulging her passion for the theatre. Sarah’s adaptability and commitment make her an invaluable member of the ISE Fire team.

Jim Brown joined ISE Fire Products & Services in 2024 as a Fire Risk Assessor, bringing with him 30 years of experience as a wholesale buyer. His keen attention to detail and excellent communication skills have made him a valuable asset to the team. Jim particularly enjoys the diversity of ISE’s customer base and working alongside the supportive and dynamic team.

Known for his sense of humour and self-deprecating charm, Jim often makes lot of jokes with his colleagues. Outside of work, he’s a devoted family man who enjoys sports, music, and spending time with his cherished 1968 VW Beetle Cabriolet. His appreciation for his manager and his upbeat attitude make him a pleasure to work with.

Harvey Miller has been with ISE Fire Products & Services since 2001, providing essential fire safety training to businesses. He teaches employees how to use fire extinguishers and respond to emergencies, making sure they feel prepared and confident. Harvey’s favorite part of his role is meeting new people and delivering impactful training sessions. Known for his strong communication skills, diplomacy, and love of tea, Harvey is a valued member of the team. Outside of work, he stays active by walking, playing football and tennis, and running.

Jack Bates joined ISE Fire Products & Services in 2022 as the department manager of Fire Alarms, after a career switch from finance. His favourite part of the job is getting to chat with different people every day! Jack’s known for being super organised and efficient, but what really stands out is his calm demeanour—nothing seems to faze him. When he’s not keeping things running smoothly at work, you’ll likely find him on the golf course, enjoying some downtime.

Ashley Pitt joined ISE Fire Products & Services in 2022 as a fire alarm engineer. Previously, he served as a firefighter with the Royal Air Force and has extensive experience as both a fire extinguisher and fire alarm engineer. Ashley's favourite part of the job is connecting with people, and he is known for his reliability. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing rugby and football.

Martin Reaney has been a valued member of the ISE Fire Products & Services team since May 2011, working as a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer. With a background as a Maintenance Engineer in factory settings, specialising in hydraulics, electrical systems, and more, Martin has brought his expertise and problem-solving abilities to the forefront.

Known for his exceptional fault-finding skills, forward planning, and strong work ethic, Martin thrives in the dynamic nature of his role, enjoying the variety of visiting different sites each day—and the occasional early finish at 2pm!

Outside of work, Martin leads a vibrant life, indulging in his love for scooters, football, holidays, and, of course, a good drink. With his confident motto, “I’m ace!”, Martin’s positivity and dedication make him an indispensable part of the ISE Fire team.

Paul Bean has been with ISE Fire Products & Services since 2006, working as a fire alarm service engineer. His love for the job and the enjoyment he gets from it are clear, which is why he’s been part of the team for so long. Paul’s many great qualities make him highly skilled in his role and a joy to work with. Known for his excellent sense of humour, Paul is a pleasure to deal with, bringing a positive energy to both his colleagues and clients.

Andrew Stearn has been a key part of the ISE Fire Products & Services team since 2003, bringing his engineering expertise and six years of Navy experience to his role as a senior fire extinguisher technician. He enjoys the variety of his work, especially being out in the field and meeting new people. Known for his team spirit, approachable nature, and efficiency, Andrew also has a great sense of humour that makes him a joy to work with. Outside of work, he’s passionate about sports, particularly golf and football.

Phil Smith joined ISE Fire Products & Services in 2018 as a Service Engineer specialising in extinguishers, bringing with him an impressive 26 years of industry experience. Phil’s warm and personable nature shines through in his favourite part of the job—meeting customers. Known for his excellent customer service and infectious sense of humour, he’s always up for sharing a chuckle, making him a favourite among colleagues and clients alike.

Outside of work, Phil enjoys unwinding by watching films, sharing quality time with his daughter, and indulging in meals out. A self-confessed chocolate biscuit enthusiast, Phil’s down-to-earth charm and professional expertise make him a valued member of the ISE Fire team.

Jordan Asher joined ISE Fire Products & Services in 2024 as a Fire Extinguisher Engineer, bringing with him eight years of experience as a service engineer team leader. Jordan’s passion for customer service, coupled with his excellent timekeeping and dedication to getting the job done, makes him an asset to the team. He’s also committed to self-improvement and expanding his skill set, always striving to be the best he can be.

Jordan appreciates the understanding and friendly nature of his colleagues and the satisfaction of managing his workload effectively. Outside of work, he enjoys watching football, walking his dog, gaming, and spending quality time with his family. Proudly referred to as the "No. 1 engineer," Jordan’s enthusiasm and drive make him a standout member of the ISE Fire team.

Bevan Drake has been an essential part of the ISE Fire Products & Services team since 2008, working as a service engineer for fire extinguishers. Before joining ISE, he managed a Tesco store and successfully ran his own business. Bev takes great pride in delivering excellent service and consistently meeting customer expectations. Known for his strong planning and organisational skills, he never misses a deadline. Outside of work, Bev enjoys spending time with his family, walking his dog, playing snooker and golf, and socialising with friends.

Gary Mobbs joined ISE Fire Products & Services in 2024 as a health and safety consultant. With a strong focus on people, he thrives on the opportunity to implement changes that foster a safe and positive work environment. Gary finds great satisfaction in making a difference for his colleagues and clients alike. Outside of work, he is passionate about staying fit and loves to travel, exploring new places and cultures.

Matt joined ISE in 2025 after 7 years in the facilities management industry. His favourite part of the job is working with the whole team to ensure our customers get the best service possible.

Matts always on the go – when he’s not at work you will usually find him outside playing football, hiking or squeezing in a round of golf.
